he update patch version 1.07 offers new multiplayer features, such as extending multiplayer to the strategic map as well as introducing a hot seat mode for multiplayer duels on a single computer. Update patch v.1.07 fixes a number of issues that were found in 1.06 dealing with the strategic multiplayer mode, including multiple problems with connections and the loading of previously saved games. The patch also addresses several issues that were discovered by players in both the single and multiplayer modes. Please see the full list of changes in the

Patch 1.07 also includes all features that were introduced in patches 1.02-1.04. The patch significantly improves Etherlord’s spell balance and reduces the "monopoly" of the artifacts. This balance change enables a great number of novel tactical options implemented in the initial game design and makes many spell combinations more effective and practical. Battles will also now feature a log file, that is, an easily accessible record of every action performed during a duel. Also, the right of the first move will go from one opponent to another in turn, and not randomly. The patch also removes program and gameplay bugs detected.
The patch enhances the anti-cheating mechanism in multiplayer duel and also fixes the bug with random game crash after losing a battle. Minor bugs with the following game elements are fixed: "Alpha-strike" and "Change of Command" spells, disenchantment ability of Pteros creatures, Chaot specialization "Stones'Wrath", Kinet "Winds' Wrath", transformation of a 3rd level mine into a 1st level one. The patch also solves a number of problems that occurred while running the game under Windows XP and Windows 2000. The patch also corrects a C++ Runtime error at the game start, which was the result of the absence of one of the necessary MS Internet Explorer program components.
You can install patch 1.07 regardless of whether you have previously installed patches 1.02, 1.03 and/or 1.04.
To install the patch run file etherlords_patch_eng_107.exe and follow the on-screen instructions.
The default installation path of the patch is C:/Program Files/Fishtank Interactive/Etherlords. After you have successfully installed the patch you can start the game in the usual way - either from the Start menu or from the game folder.
